Pricing and payments

Fixed-price build agreements, paid in stages. All prices in US dollars.

What a build costs

Complete frame-up build: Quoted individually; most complete builds fall between $150,000 and $300,000 depending on drivetrain, interior and option choices. The agreement states one fixed price.
Donor vehicle: Client-supplied, or sourced by us and billed at cost plus an agreed fee.
Change orders: Any change after signing is priced in writing and approved by you before work proceeds.
Sales tax: Charged where required by the delivery state unless an exemption applies.

Payment schedule

Deposit: At signing of the build agreement; typically 30% of the build price. Secures your slot and funds the donor, frame and major components.
Progress payment 1: On completion of chassis and drivetrain (rolling chassis test-run).
Progress payment 2: On completion of body and paint.
Final balance: Before release and delivery, after your final inspection.

How to pay

Each stage is invoiced by email from RBS Customs LLC with a secure online payment link. Pay by:

Bank transfer (ACH credit or wire) to the account details on the invoice, preferred for deposits and progress payments
ACH bank debit through the payment link
Credit or debit card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover) through the payment link
Check, payable to RBS Customs LLC, mailed to 47 Pleasant Street, Suite BS, Northampton, MA 01060

The payment page is hosted by Stripe (invoice.stripe.com). Your card or bank statement will show the charge as RBS CUSTOMS LLC. Receipts are emailed automatically. If you did not receive an invoice or a link has expired, email info@raddpayments.com with your build number.

Security

Online payments are processed by Stripe on a Stripe-hosted payment page over an encrypted (TLS) connection. Card and bank details go directly to Stripe, a PCI DSS Level 1 certified provider; we never see or store full card numbers. This website is served only over HTTPS.

Delivery

Finished builds are delivered by enclosed transport anywhere in the continental United States, billed at actual carrier cost, or collected at our shop by appointment. Estimated completion windows are stated in the build agreement; most builds take 10 to 16 months.

Deposits, cancellations and refunds

Deposits are refundable less costs incurred and committed if you cancel within 14 days of signing; after that, deposits and progress payments are applied to work and parts already completed or ordered. Full terms are in the deposit, cancellation and refund policy.
