Start a build See builds What we build Every RBS Customs Bronco starts from a first-generation (1966 to 1977) body and is rebuilt from the frame up. You choose the color, the drivetrain, the interior and the stance; we engineer the rest. Chassis Media-blasted, repaired and powder-coated frame; coil-over suspension; four-wheel disc brakes; new axles and steering. Drivetrain Modern fuel-injected V8 with automatic or manual transmission, new transfer case, cooling and exhaust. Body and paint Steel or fiberglass body panels fitted by hand, sealed and finished in the color and sheen you choose. Interior Hand-stitched leather or marine-grade vinyl, modern sound deadening, air conditioning, discreet audio and gauges. Body, paint and interior Panel fit, sealing, paint, glass, wiring, upholstery and final assembly. Shakedown and delivery Road testing, final inspection with you, title paperwork and enclosed transport to your door. Pricing, deposits and payment methods Part of RBS Auto Work RBS Customs is one of the automotive companies of RBS Auto Work, the automotive services group of Radd Payment Solutions. The group runs one back office for its companies: scheduling, invoicing, customer accounts, receivables and bookkeeping, so the shop can stay focused on the build. Back office for builders The same team supports a small number of partner restoration and custom shops with invoice preparation, receivables follow-up and bookkeeping. Anything that changes the agreed price is written up as a change order before the work is done. Start a build --- ## The build process URL: https://customs.rbsautowork.com/process The build process From first conversation to enclosed delivery, in writing at every step. 1. Consultation and build agreement We start with how you will use the truck and what it should look and feel like. From that we write a specification and a build agreement: fixed price, payment schedule, estimated timeline and what is and is not included. Nothing starts until you have signed it and the deposit is received. 2. Chassis and drivetrain The donor is stripped to the frame. The frame is blasted, repaired and powder-coated; suspension, brakes, axles, steering, engine, transmission and transfer case are installed and the rolling chassis is test-run. You receive photos at the end of this stage and the first progress invoice. 3. Body, paint and interior Body panels are fitted, gapped, sealed and painted in a controlled booth. Glass, wiring, lighting, heating and air conditioning, upholstery, sound deadening and trim follow. Second progress invoice at paint completion. 4. Shakedown and delivery The finished truck is road-tested, corrected and inspected with you in person or by video. Final balance is due before release. We handle title paperwork and arrange enclosed transport anywhere in the continental United States, billed at actual cost. Timeline Most complete builds take 10 to 16 months depending on specification and parts availability. The agreement states an estimated completion window; we send photo updates at least monthly. Warranty RBS Customs warrants its workmanship for 12 months or 12,000 miles from delivery. New components carry their manufacturers' warranties. Paint is warranted against defects in application for 12 months. Warranty work is performed at our shop; return transport is the owner's responsibility unless agreed otherwise. --- ## Pricing and payments URL: https://customs.rbsautowork.com/pricing Pricing and payments Fixed-price build agreements, paid in stages. All prices in US dollars. What a build costs Complete frame-up build Quoted individually; most complete builds fall between $150,000 and $300,000 depending on drivetrain, interior and option choices. The agreement states one fixed price. Donor vehicle Client-supplied, or sourced by us and billed at cost plus an agreed fee. Change orders Any change after signing is priced in writing and approved by you before work proceeds. Sales tax Charged where required by the delivery state unless an exemption applies. Payment schedule Deposit At signing of the build agreement; typically 30% of the build price. Secures your slot and funds the donor, frame and major components. Progress payment 1 On completion of chassis and drivetrain (rolling chassis test-run). Progress payment 2 On completion of body and paint. Final balance Before release and delivery, after your final inspection. How to pay Each stage is invoiced by email from RBS Customs LLC with a secure online payment link. Pay by: Bank transfer (ACH credit or wire) to the account details on the invoice, preferred for deposits and progress payments ACH bank debit through the payment link Credit or debit card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover) through the payment link Check, payable to RBS Customs LLC, mailed to 47 Pleasant Street, Suite BS, Northampton, MA 01060 The payment page is hosted by Stripe (invoice.stripe.com). Your card or bank statement will show the charge as RBS CUSTOMS LLC . Receipts are emailed automatically. If you did not receive an invoice or a link has expired, email info@raddpayments.com with your build number. Security Online payments are processed by Stripe on a Stripe-hosted payment page over an encrypted (TLS) connection. Card and bank details go directly to Stripe, a PCI DSS Level 1 certified provider; we never see or store full card numbers. This website is served only over HTTPS. Delivery Finished builds are delivered by enclosed transport anywhere in the continental United States, billed at actual carrier cost, or collected at our shop by appointment. Estimated completion windows are stated in the build agreement; most builds take 10 to 16 months. Deposits, cancellations and refunds Deposits are refundable less costs incurred and committed if you cancel within 14 days of signing; after that, deposits and progress payments are applied to work and parts already completed or ordered. Effective August 22, 2026 These terms apply to custom vehicle builds, restoration work and related services sold by RBS Customs LLC ("RBS Customs", "we", "us"), 47 Pleasant Street, Suite BS, Northampton, MA 01060. Each build is also governed by its signed build agreement; where the two differ, the build agreement controls. Build agreement and price Work begins when the build agreement is signed and the deposit is received. The agreement states a fixed price in US dollars, the specification, the payment schedule and an estimated completion window. Changes requested after signing are priced as written change orders and require your approval before the work proceeds. Payment Payments are due as stages complete, per the schedule in the agreement and the pricing page : deposit at signing, progress payments at chassis/drivetrain and body/paint completion, and the balance before release. Accepted methods: bank transfer, ACH debit, card and check. Charges appear on statements as RBS CUSTOMS LLC. Work pauses on invoices more than 15 days past due; balances more than 30 days past due accrue 1.5% per month or the maximum allowed by law. Donor vehicle and title You warrant that any client-supplied donor vehicle is owned by you with clear title. We handle title and registration paperwork for the completed vehicle as agreed; state fees are passed through at cost. Timeline and delivery Completion windows are estimates; parts availability can move them, and we will tell you promptly if it does. Delivery is by enclosed carrier at actual cost or by collection at our shop. Risk of loss passes on delivery to the carrier or to you. Warranty Workmanship is warranted for 12 months or 12,000 miles from delivery, paint for 12 months against defects in application; components carry their manufacturers' warranties. Excluded: racing or competition use, accident damage, modifications by others, and normal wear. Liability To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amounts paid under the build agreement. We are not liable for consequential damages, loss of use or diminished value. Effective August 22, 2026 Cancelling within 14 days of signing You may cancel a build agreement within 14 days of signing. The deposit is refunded less any costs we have incurred or committed on your build (for example a donor vehicle purchased or non-cancellable parts ordered), which are itemized for you. Cancelling after 14 days After 14 days, deposits and progress payments are applied to work completed and parts ordered or received for your build. We issue a final statement showing the work and parts paid for; any unused balance is refunded, and you may take delivery of the partially completed vehicle and parts you have paid for. Completed stages Progress payments for completed stages are not refundable. If a stage has a workmanship defect, it is corrected under warranty at no charge for labor. Refund timing Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method within 10 business days. Card refunds typically appear within 5 to 10 business days depending on the issuing bank; bank transfers are returned to the originating account. Effective August 22, 2026 What we collect When you enquire about or commission a build we collect your contact details, delivery and billing address, vehicle and title information, and the payment information needed to process your payments. How we use it To specify, build, invoice and deliver your vehicle, to send build updates, and to meet tax and record-keeping obligations. We do not sell client information and we do not send marketing email without consent. Client vehicles are photographed for the build record; we publish build photos only with the owner's permission. Payments Online payments are processed by Stripe. Card and bank details entered on the payment page go directly to Stripe and are not stored on our systems. Stripe's privacy policy is at stripe.com/privacy. Sharing We share information only with service providers that help us operate (payment processing, email, accounting, carriers), with our parent company Radd Payment Solutions, LLC for billing and bookkeeping, and as required by law. Cookies and analytics This website sets no tracking cookies and runs no third-party analytics or advertising scripts.
